Bob Banka, the President of CMS has been involved with the development and promotion of pervious concrete for over twenty one years now. Not only a recognized leader in the industry, Bob is an NRMCA Certified Pervious Concrete Craftsman and a voting member of the American Concrete Institute's Committee 522 on pervious concrete.
In addition he has been instrumental in developing pervious mixes that are durable, good looking and that perform well. He was the person who discovered the advantages of using hydration stablizers to prolong the life of pervious concrete in a concrete mixer and allow for a truck to carry pervious concrete all day without the need to cycle the trucks off of a pervious job after two trips over concerns of the pervious concrete sticking to the drum as well as to increase the window of workability for the contractor and allow for a slower curing of the concrete which increases it's ultimate strength.
